The Central Coordinating Committee
This is the decision-making body that represents the needs and interests of the Community of Mandela Rhodes Scholars (CMRS). The CCC is involved in policy formation, fundraising, projects, and many other activities that will allow the voice of the CMRS to be represented. The CCC provides scholars with the opportunity to further develop their leadership abilities. Scholars on the CCC are called to solve problems and network with various outside constituents as they accumulate the necessary resources in order to meet the Community of Mandela Rhodes Scholars' needs.
Kershan Pancham

Kershan is Film Writer and Director and Spiritual Healer. He serves as Chairperson for the Community of Mandela Rhodes Scholars and Trustee on the Board of Educo Africa.

Pie-Pacifique Kabalira-Uwase, born in Rwanda on August 21 1980, has lived in exile in South Africa for 10 years.

PROJECT OFFICER

I am Projects Officer in the 2011 CCC of the CMRS. Currently studying towards Masters in Financial Markets Economics at University of Fort Hare at the same time representing student bodies/societies involved in community projects in the Senate Committee on Community Engagement at UFH.

I'm currently partaking in the Sauve Scholar Programme working on a project aiming to introduce the arts in Deaf Education.
Alice Wamundiya
PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

In addition to being the CMRS PR, Alice is also Chairperson of UTRS, and NPO she helped found which lobbies and advocates for refugees in South Africa to access tertiary education.
Xolile Osmond Mlonyeni
SECRETARY

Osmond is currently a PhD (Genetics) candidate at the University of Pretoria and a 2009 Mandela Rhodes Scholar.
Unnel-Teddy Ngoumandjoka
INTERNAL RELATIONS OFFICER

Unnel-Teddy Ngoumandjoka is currently completing is MSc in Computer Science at the University of the Witwatersrand and is a 2009 scholar.
